John Hill, DDS
From a small-town solo practice, to large clinics in Dallas and Houston, Dr. Hill has practiced dentistry for 32 years in a wide variety of settings.  Since receiving his DDS from the University of Texas Dental Branch, Houston in 1975, he has worked in high-volume city clinics as well as village huts in the mountains of Mexico.  Following a 1968 graduation from the small high school of Graham, Texas, Dr. Hill received a B.S. in biology from Hardin-Simmons University, Abilene, Texas.

Although Dr. Hill intended to use his dental skills in overseas missionary work, providing for his growing family took priority for many years.  After coming to work with Apple Dental Center in 1988, Dr. Hill was able to begin a series of 1 to 3 trips per year to Mexico.

In 2003, Dr. Hill entered a five-year hiatus from dental practice to be involved in full-time missionary work.  This led to spending much of 2005-2007 in Northern India.  In mid-2007, the Hills' family returned to Corpus Christi for their youngest to attend high school.

Dr. Hill was happy to return to Apple Dental Center.  With his varied perspective of dental practice styles, Dr. Hill has found Apple Dental Center to be the best combination of small-town atmosphere with some big-city advantages.

Dr. Hill and his wife Kathy have four grown children.  Three of them graduated from Richard King High School.  They have a college professor, a truck driver, and a missionary in west Africa.  Their younger daughter is pursuing a degree in physical therapy from TAMUCC and their yourngest son will graduate from high school in 2011.  John and Kathy will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary later this year.  Dr. Hill's current passions are his six grandchildren and his motorcycle.
